Work is good, except I don't get a long with most of my coworkers. But the coworkers I don't get along with are generally the ones who don't do their job well. I can't wait until I graduate from high school and go to college to learn to be an actress. I hate this part-time thing. x.x

I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday... It was a terrible experience. They used Nitrous Oxide on me, distributed through an IV, and they also used something to numb my mouth. I don't remember anything during the short time that I was under the influence of the IV, but I came back to my senses only half-way through the procedure. I was scared, crying, shaking... Everything. When they took me back to the room, they hooked up and blood pressure moniter and I was so freaked out that my heart rate was 94. Then they left for a few minutes and I was able to calm down, and the heart rate hovered between 65 and 75. Then when the doctor came in it shot back up to 114. I'm so pathetic, but I was so scared... I don't know exactly what I was scared of, but geez I was scared. But I did impress one of the nurses when they hooked up the IV. I watched them do it and didn't flinch, something that she says she can't do. "I don't like to watch." I replied by saying, "I have to watch." Which is true, I hate not watching when I get stuck with a needle.

So, I'm off from work until Friday. On Thursday, God willing, I'm going to magic Kingdom and EPCOT with Wendell, Tim, and Tiffany. It's gonna be fun. ^^; w00t. I'll have to take a camera. I feel like acting like a tourist this time.

1). Take your LJ username and replace each letter with the corresponding number (A=1, B=2, etc...). If your name contains numbers, you'll need to convert them to letters first before you can convert to numbers.

2). Add all of the numbers together to create a kind of super number.

3). Make a note of the first digit of this number, then add the digits of the number together.

Well, anyways... Yeah. Lol. Life is a good thing and the world is beautiful. And I finally found a way to describe my oppinion on the population of humanity: I dislike the human race as a whole. But I love indivuduals. I love my family, I love my friends, and I love my pets, and I just... Love my life. Everything is good. I've got stuff I need to do that might drag me down for a bit, but as I haven't gotten around to it, I'm fine for now. But yeah.

Well... I just wanna rant. So I am gonna rant.

This is for all of you who don't know how to treat people within a relationship...

Intimate Relationships:

You have to have many specific elements in order to make a relationship of this nature succeed in becoming anything more than a short and meaningless - if not painful - episode. You can't just like them, and you can't just look cute together. Even if the feelings are mutual... It takes compassion, understanding, and trust on both parts to make this relationship work. I realize that it's very hard to build trust sometimes, and it's even harder to test it. But that is certainly no reason to not trust your significant other. I'm not saying that a relationship is impossible without trust, but I am saying that a good relationship isn't possible without it. What kind of significant other are you when you are only worried about whether or not the other is faithful to you?

But... I am not telling you to go and break up with you boyfriend or girlfriend just because you might not trust them, or they might not trust you. What to do, then? Build trust. Spend time together, talk about things, be truthful and urge them to be as well. Do not stalk your significant other. Seriously. NO stalking. Maybe find out where they are and show up once or twice at the same place and surprise them with your presence (do not just watch them from afar, make yourself known and join their party). But never stalk.

Friendships:

Everyone has troubles within their friendships. There is always something wrong about you that your best friend does not appreciate. This can, when not dealt with correctly, cause problems to an otherwise meaningful and beautiful friendship. And, of course, the feeling is mutual. Of course there is something that you do not like about your best friend. But... Friendships are not about finding the person who has the least amount of problems and sticking by them and only them. Friendships are about finding someone that you can have fun with, that you can talk to, and that you can trust and accept. Understanding is not important in a friendship as long as you can accept them for who they are. You don't have to understand why they practice a certain religion as long as you can accept it and not let it bother you. Let your friends be who they are.

But what if there is just something that completely upsets you, or offends you, or just irritates you beyond acceptation? Let us say that your friend has BO, and because of this the two of you are never able to hang out in a group larger than the two of you; and you, being a social person, like being in larger groups... Well, don't just drop your friend like a rock because they stink... Sit them down, talk about this unacceptable problem that they have (in private, or in a public place where privacy is a given), and give them all the information that you can on how to fix it. In this scenario, you can tell them that they stink and that you think that a lot of other people are noticing it too. They just need to bathe a lot, with a strong anti-bacterial soap, and give their entire room - wardrobe, bed sheets, and carpet definitely included - a damn good cleaning. Offer to help them in this process. But don't just try to make things bearable for yourself... Care about them, too. Is there something about you that really drives them up the wall? Be willing to fix your unacceptable problems for the better, as well. If you two help each other through it, then you will arrive on the other side of the problems, still together, still friends, and probably closer for it. You have nothing to gain by keeping quiet and holding in everything that you hate about someone you are close to, and you have a lot to gain by trying to work your problems out. This can also be applied to intimate relationships. Please... Don't ever, ever not tell someone something just because you think it will hurt their feelings or break their ego.

Relationships with Authority Figures (Including Parental Units):

Let's face it. Sometimes we just have to obey directions we don't want to obey, and sometimes we have to work under someone that we do not want to work under. The best thing to do in these situations if you don't want to get your ass kicked by people who have the power and authority to do so is have respect. They don't have respect for you? Oh well, it's not their prerogative to have respect for you. You are beneath them, dear. They do not have to respect you. Not even your parents. If you don't want to do what they tell you, it is all right to voice your opinions. But do not whine about it, do not complain, and do not refuse to do it. Use your head. These people can hurt you more than you can hurt them. Always be prepared to take the consequences for your actions. If getting fired (and thus probably being told off by your family and ridiculed by your friends and being turned down by future employment opportunies) is worth trash-talking your manager, by all means, go ahead. Just think before you act in these situations. They honestly can hurt you more than you could think possible - especially if you are a minor.

Tim's not on, and he's the one I usually talk to about this kind of stuff, but my journal is just going to have to do this time.

I feel like Death is following me. Maybe not for me persay, but I feel like it is here. Maybe for the people I come into contact with, maybe for me, maybe for reasons I can't understand. But it doesn't matter, I think Death is here. And even if it is not Death, it is still something supernatural and rancid.

Aside from literally being able to smell Death, I've been hearing things too. High-pitched beeping sounds, and sometimes just normal vibrations. I know all sounds are made by vibrations, but that's the only word I can use to describe what I hear. Think of a cell phone when you have it on silent-vibrate and the sound it makes when someone calls. Kinda like that.

Otherwise... New things are coming, old things are dying. Perhaps it's for the best; perhaps I'm a fool to let it happen. I don't know. I can see both sides and I don't know what to do about them. Let it fall apart and crumble? Put some masking tape on it? Get a new one altogether? Maybe if I don't do anything, it won't do anything and will stay the way it is? Bu that's not good, I have to do one thing or another. I can't be indifferent to it all.

Tim isn't there as much as he used to be and recently I feel as though we are drifting.

Troy and I don't talk anymore, and I can't put into words how much grief I feel for that.

Rissa has been gone for months.

Tiffany has been gone for years.

It's hard to think that the short time that I had Jenni even mattered at all, in the grand scheme of things.

Alex is less than she used to be, but at least she stopped slipping once she hit a certain spot.

Trixie will inevitably grow old and die within the next five years, and I don't think that I will be able to handle it. No matter what.

I don't know what's going on with my mom...

My dad is hundreds of miles away,

And my brother is losing his respect for me.

Those are the only people who ever really mattered to me in life (in no real order). And all of them are less than they used to be. I don't know why I am here anymore. I used to know. I truly knew the meaning of my life. But if it has not changed into something I have not yet found, then I can no longer understand it.
